It is the intent and resolve of Barnes High Tech Plumbing Inc. to comply with the requirements and spirit of the law in the implementation of all facets of equal opportunity and affirmative action. Each employee and new hire will receive a drug/alcohol abuse awareness form to be signed and dated by the employee and which shall indicate that the employee:

• Understands and agrees to abide by the drug/alcohol-free workplace policy;
• Has knowledge that disciplinary action, including termination, will be imposed for violation of this policy;
• Consents to undergo a pre-employment blood test and/or urinalysis to determine the presence of alcohol or drugs in the system. Any such testing will be on company time and expense. All test results will remain confidential between the company and the tested employees except as may otherwise be permitted or required by law.
• Consents to be re-tested at the request of management when they recognizes that the circumstances may warrant it.
